An International Convention
On March 3-4 TESOL Greece
will be very happy to welcome you to our 39th Annual international Convention This two-day event will be held on the Agia Paraskevi campus of Deree — The American College of Greece, and it will comprise of talks and workshops. The theme of the convention is: Be Creative and Inspire! One of the main roles of a language teacher is to implement their theoretical background and differentiated styles of teaching to many different types of learners. TESOL Greece would like to create a forum in which all presenters can share inspiration and discuss specific approaches to language teaching. At the 39th TESOL Greece Convention, presenters are encouraged to share ideas, which have succeeded in realizing specific learning objectives in a variety of ELT environments. Ideas for language learning activities supported by research findings, would be of interest to our members/ convention attendees. |
What is the Colour......of your Creativity? |
The focus of the 39th TESOL Greece Convention is on Creativity. We welcome proposals and ideas that promote creativity in the classroom in a variety of areas of language teaching, ranging from primary and young learners to adult learners, from general English to EAP and ESP. More specifically, we encourage topics that deal with catering to learners’ individual needs, exploring alternative approaches to ELT, increasing learner and teacher motivation, fostering teacher and learner autonomy, creating a supportive learning environment and implementing effective teaching practices.
